Slovak Government NSP Scholarships  Overview

The Slovak Government NSP Scholarships Program (NSP) provides fully funded financial support for international students pursuing Master’s or PhD studies, as well as for university teachers, researchers, and artists. • Medical Examination Reimbursement: Up to €250 for long stays requiring a temporary residence permit.

Eligible Nationalities

The Slovak Government NSP Scholarships is open to students and professionals of all nationalities, except Slovak citizens. Previous recipients must wait two years to reapply.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Master’s students:
   • Must be enrolled outside Slovakia.
   • Must have completed at least 2.5 years of studies.
   • Must be accepted for a mobility program at a Slovak university (1–2 semesters or 1–3 trimesters).
2. PhD students:
   • Must be pursuing a PhD outside Slovakia.
   • Must be accepted for a research stay at a recognized Slovak institution (1–10 months).
3. University teachers, researchers, and artists:
   • Must be invited by a qualified Slovak research institution for a teaching/research/artistic stay (1–10 months).
