Robert Gordon University scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These are open to full-time, on-campus international students and full fee-paying students from the rest of the United Kingdom outside of Scotland (RUK students).
Robert Gordon University, commonly referred to as RGU, is a public university in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It became a university in 1992, and originated from an educational institution founded in the 18th century by Robert Gordon, a prosperous Aberdeen merchant, and various institutions which provided adult education and technical education in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Benefits: The maximum total amount of scholarships available to an individual student will be £3,000 for students from an approved Partner Institution and £2,500 for direct entry students.
Eligibility:
Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
- Have received an offer and selected RGU as their firm choice for any full-time undergraduate programme
- Hold or expect to achieve three A-levels at grade A (or equivalent qualifications)
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment.
- Must be a self-funded student
RGU Undergraduate Award
- Have received an offer and selected RGU as their firm choice for any full-time undergraduate programme
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment, or fee paying student from rest of UK
- Must be a self-funded student
RGU Postgraduate Awards
- Have received an offer from RGU and met the academic entry requirement
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment, or fee paying student from rest of UK
- Must be a self-funded student
RGU Undergraduate High Achiever Scholarship
- Have received an offer and selected RGU as their firm choice for any full-time undergraduate programme
- Hold at least one of three A-levels at grade A (or equivalent qualifications)
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment
- Must be a self-funded student
- Successful applicants will be awarded a total of £2,000 (RGU International Undergraduate Award + RGU Undergraduate High Achiever Scholarship)
RGU Postgraduate High Achiever Scholarship
- Have received an offer from RGU and achieved a 2:1 or above undergraduate degree classification or equivalent international qualification
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment
- Must be a self-funded student
- Successful applicants will be awarded a total of £2,000 (RGU Postgraduate Award + RGU Postgraduate High Achiever Scholarship)
Early Payment Award
- Have received an offer from RGU
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment
- Must be a self-funded student
RGU International Partnership Award
- Have received an offer from RGU and met all condition
- Be classed by the University as an international fee payer for tuition fee payment
- Must be a self-funded student
Eligible Nationalities: International students can apply for these scholarships.
Application Procedure: For Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, applicants must submit a scholarship application form, including a 500 words statement of support. And for other scholarships applicants are not required to submit a separate scholarship application.
