A postdoctoral research fellowship is available in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at the Uppsala University. Students from Sweden are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of an internationally recognized test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent.

Degree Level: Fellowship is available to pursue postdoctoral programme.

Available Subject: Fellowship is awarded in Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

Scholarship Benefits: Applicants will be paid individual salary.

Number of Scholarships: One scholarship is available.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

To be eligible for the postdoctoral fellowship the applicant must have a PhD or attained corresponding academic subject proficiency in the humanities or social sciences and have the personal characteristics required to meet the demands of the position well. A person with a PhD obtained not more than three years before the end of the application period is particularly eligible for the position.

Eligible Nationality: Students from Sweden are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

 

Application Procedure:  The mode of application is online. A complete application, including publications cited, must include:

  • Curriculum vitae and attested copies of certificates and other documents referred to.
  • A brief account of academic, teaching and other work. Personal circumstances (such as parental leave) that can, in assessment of qualifications, be credited to the applicant should be included in the account of qualifications and experience.
  • A list of the five academic works cited in the application. These should be ranked according to their relevance to the application. It must also be clearly stated which writings belong to the following categories: monographs, peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Publications cited must be enclosed with the application.
  • A five-page project description closely connected with the state of the art in the research field.
