University of Newcastle Scholarship is exclusively open for international and Australian students starting a PhD programme in 2017. The scholarship is granted in the subjects on “Understanding How Innate lymphoid Cell Regulate Mammalian Lung Development”.
The scholarship aims to identify new basic biological processes that are involved in mammalian lung development.

Available Subject: The scholarship is awarded in the subject of “Understanding How Innate lymphoid Cell Regulate Mammalian Lung Development”.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship will covers $26,288, indexed in January each year. The scholarship is for a period of 3 years, with the possibility of a six-month extension.
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for the scholarship:
- GPA of at least 5.25 out of 7, English Proficiency, Honours Class One or equivalent. Experience in Immunology, developmental biology, respiratory biology, flow cytometry, RNA-sequencing and mouse models would be a strategic advantage.
- This scholarship is available to International and Australian candidates.
