- Korean Citizenship Restrictions: Applicants with Korean citizenship or dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as international students.

- Note: International students enrolled at other universities are eligible to apply, but admitted students must withdraw from their current institutions, as KAIST does not permit dual enrollment.
- English Proficiency & Standardized Tests: While submitting English proficiency scores (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) or standardized test results (e.g., SAT, AP) is recommended, it is not mandatory. Applicants without these scores will not be disadvantaged.
