The Strategist UK is seeking an intern to support our editorial team. The website, a companion to New York Magazine’s award-winning print section of the same name, offers readers rigorously-vetted articles to help navigate the vast online shopping landscape.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• The ideal candidate must be able to work 4 days per week (32 hours per week) for 3 months.
• Updating a selection of top-trafficked stories with alternative links that speak to the Strategist UK’s sensibility
• Creating themed “hub” pages aggregating specific Strategist UK content in one landing page
• Refreshing content around the Strategist UK site
• Pitching and writing occasional “This Thing’s Incredible” stories on a favorite purchase
• Assisting Strategist UK writers and editor with other tasks, as needed WHO YOU ARE
• An investigative approach to online trends and shopping, an interest in service journalism
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant internship experience preferred
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools preferred • Knowledge and understanding of the online shopping-sphere preferred

WHERE YOU’LL WORK This job is remote with available work sites if you prefer to be in an office. We’re dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all of our employees, and when we reopen, will require everyone who works from one of our offices to be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19. Employees with approved religious or medical exemptions may be subject to additional safety requirements, such as submitting to regular COVID-19 testing and/or wearing a face covering in our offices.
