The University of Kent is pleased to offer 100 doctoral scholarships for 2017 intake. These scholarships are open to UK, EU and overseas students who can demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential.
The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a plate glass university.
The University requires all non-native speakers of English to reach a minimum standard of proficiency in written and spoken English before beginning a postgraduate degree.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing research programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to the study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: £14,296 (2016/17 rate) plus Home fees
Eligibility:
- Candidates must hold a good Honours degree (First or 2i) or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent.
- The scholarship competition is open to all new postgraduate research applicants.
- Current Kent research students are not eligible for this scholarship.
- UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply. Please note that overseas students must have the appropriate documentation to evidence eligibility to work in the UK.
