Bings Masters Scholarship for any Nationalities, Applications are invited for masters thesis scholarship from students undertaking the thesis year of a Masters programme at a university in New Zealand. The value of each award shall be $2,000 per annum. Each award shall be tenable for one year and that year shall be the thesis year of a Master’s degree. They are to be awarded to any persons without restrictions of gender, race, nationality, creed or age who, by their occupations, courses of study or experience are qualified to carry out research (at Masters level). The application deadline is 1st October, 2015.
Participating Institute: university in New Zealand is participating.
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the fields of medicine, veterinary science, agriculture, psychology, psychiatry or theology.
Degree Level: Scholarship is available for students undertaking the thesis year of a Masters programme at a university in New Zealand.
Scholarship Provider: The funds for this scholarship are provided by the income from a bequest made by Mrs Elsie Violet Wells.
Eligibility: The award shall be tenable by those undertaking the thesis year of a Masters programme at a university in New Zealand. They are to be awarded to any persons without restrictions of gender, race, nationality, creed or age who, by their occupations, courses of study or experience are qualified to carry out research (at Masters level) in such fields.
Eligible Nationalities: Citizens of any nationality can apply for this scholarship.
What does it cover: The value of each award shall be $2,000 per annum.
Notification: Applicants will be notified in December.
Application Procedure: Candidates should complete an application using the Universities NZ on-line
scholarships application. The on-line application form will request and applicants must provide:
- a statement outlining the candidate’s thesis research.
- a statement outlining the candidate’s extracurricular activities.
- a statement describing any other particulars that may prove useful to the selection committee.
