ACU Commonwealth Scholarship for Master Students in Pakistan 2014

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is awarding a Commonwealth scholarship for pursuing master degree at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. Applicants must be citizens of any Commonwealth country except Pakistan and hold a degree (earned after 16 years of education) in the relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education, with CGPA of 2.5/4.0 under semester system, or not less than 60% marks under annual system. Applications should be submitted till 30th June 2014 for fall 2014 session.

• The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) has allocated one Masters Scholarship (to the students of Commonwealth Countries) in any one of fields related to Physics, Biosciences and Mathematics, tenable at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) Islamabad, Pakistan, for fall 2014 session.
• One Commonwealth scholarship is available.
• This Commonwealth scholarship is awarded for two years.
•  The scholarship will cover
  • -Full tuition fees
  • -Monthly/quarterly stipend (living allowance) set at local rates
  • -Arrival allowance (usually) USD 500, to contribute to additional costs incurred in moving to your host country
  • -One economy class return airfare between your home and host countries
• Scholarship is awarded to study any course offered within the Department of Physics, Biosciences and Mathematics.
• Scholarship is available for pursuing master degree at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology.

Eligibility:

-Be citizens of any Commonwealth country except Pakistan

Students of Commonwealth country except Pakistan (Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Cameroon, Canada, Cyprus, Dominica, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Island, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Kingdom, Vanuatu, Zambia, Cameroon and South Africa) can apply for this Commonwealth scholarship.
