The Floor and Decor Summer Internship Program is an exciting opportunity for college students who would like to gain meaningful hands-on experience in a corporate retail environment. As a part of the 10-week program, interns will have the opportunity to learn from leaders across all departments of the organization, gain exposure to the in-store environment, give a final report out to the Executive Team, and participate in planned social and networking events throughout the summer. The internship will be based in our corporate office in Smyrna, Georgia. At the end of this internship, students will be able to assist with pitches by providing social listening, competitive analysis, and secondary research to inform strategy and creative development of Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and other Insurance Plans subject to eligibility criteria Intern’s placement within each department will be dependent upon major and availability within the department. Potential departments available for placement include:

• Marketingjuniorng Junior or Senior year
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 • Experience with problem-solving and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Have the ability to work full-time and for the duration of the 10-week summer program
Working Conditions (travel, environment)
• Limited travel including air and car travel
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
