Scholarship Description: The Friedrich Ebert Foundation is offering Scholarship for International Doctoral Students in Germany. Foreign scholarship holders benefit from all the advantages of our graduate funding: financial security, professional contacts, networking in university groups and work courses as well as a comprehensive seminar program.
The grant is aimed at foreigners, who are already admitted to the doctorate in Germany without any further requirements. You should have completed your studies with an above-average result quickly.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Doctoral programme.
Available Subject: Candidates are international students from all subjects (except the medical disciplines).
Scholarship Benefits: Scholarship holders receive 1,000 euros per month. The duration of the grant is two, at most three years. In justified exceptional cases, the grant may be granted for more than three years, but up to the time of the final examination. Scholarship Value

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
Anyone who is admitted to a doctorate at a German university without further requirements can apply, with the exception of the Department of Medicine. Prerequisites for a successful application are (very) good school and study-related achievements and voluntary social commitment.
