Margaret Roddan Tust Bursaries offered through University of St. Andrews Thomas in Scotland.
The University of St. Andrew is offering bursaries provided by thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust. The scholarship will be provided to deserving candidates who belong to Scotland or outside UK. The bursary is for postgraduate courses. Applicant can apply for all subject at postgraduate level taught in the university. The bursary is expected to provide £ 500 to £3000. The scholarship can be taken at scotland. International students are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The applicant must hold an Honours degree with good score.
Eligibility Requirements:
Academic Qualification: Admission to a taught programme is normally on the basis of a good first degree with Honours from a UK university (or its overseas equivalent). Final overall grade examples include 2.1 (UK), 2.2 or B+ (Europe), 3.6 GPA (USA), 85% (China), 70% (India).
Eligible Nationalities: Applicants from Scotland; England; Northern Ireland; Wales; EU; International students are eligible to apply for this bursary.
Selection Criteria: Selection panel of the university will assess applications on the basis of academic merit and career potential.
English Language Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English proficiency. This can be either an IELTS score of 7.0, a TOEFL score of 100 iBT, or a Cambridge CPE at grade C. Further details can be found on the English Language Teaching webpages. The Schools of English, Management, and Economics & Finance each have their own minimum English language requirements. Applicants can find the specific IELTS scores required by these Schools on the English Language Teaching webpages.
Documents Required: application will be submitted in stages. Only those who clear first stage will be required to submit full application. Documents required at that level will be intimated accordingly.
Application Procedure: All eligible applications submitted online are assessed by University selection panels, with decisions based on academic merit and career potential. A shortlist is drawn up and selected candidates are notified in late May. If applicant’s application is shortlisted by the University at the end of Stage 1, they will be asked to complete the Roddan Trust Full Application Form which includes questions about the candidate’s financial situation and asks for referee details. Please do not submit the Full Application Form unless university notifies applicants as a shortlisted candidate in late May 2016.
