2015 PhD Studentship for International Students, Cardiff University is inviting applications for PhD studentship in applied linguistics. Successful applicants to the programme will typically have demonstrated a strong performance at Master’s level, will have completed a course on research methods, and will have some experience of conducting empirical research (possibly as part of the Master’s Degree). A strong research project proposal in a relevant field will also be required. The bursaries are worth up to £7000, in the form of fee reduction (for International students) and fee waiver (for Home/EU students), during years 2, 3 and 4 of the six year programme. Bursaries are calculated as equivalent to predicted Home/EU tuition fees x 3 years. The last date of submission of application is 3 July 2015.
