2015 Fully-Funded Studentship for International Students, Swansea University is inviting applications for fully funded MPhil studentship in geography. Candidates will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be prepared to stay away from home when necessary for extended periods of time. The studentship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees, plus a tax free stipend of £10,130 p.a. for two years. These positions are open to all, but please note that only UK/EU tuition fees will be covered by the scholarship. International students are welcome to apply, but will be required to pay the difference between the UK/EU fee level and the international fee level. Eligibility:
- Applicants should hold a first or upper second class honours degree in a relevant discipline, such as geography, ecology, forestry or plant science. Candidates who also hold or who are expecting to achieve a relevant Master’s degree are highly desirable.
- The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of plant pathology, entomology and tree diseases and have experience of dendrochronology.
- Candidates will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be prepared to stay away from home when necessary for extended periods of time.
